In this time when the world is in a major energy transition, Black Oaks Center is rooted in our mission of facilitating communities in being resilient.  For every day that goes by, the demand for fossil fuel energy that we all have been accustomed to is greater than the supply.  Whether it is fossil fuels or precious minerals, resource shortages are shaping our future with climate instability.  At the inception of Black Oaks Center, when asking what skills would be needed to thrive in a post-carbon world, the 4 skills building tracks are the foundation for being well prepared to thrive in a post-carbon effected world.
